Know Pain – Booking Terms & Conditions

  • Once your booking has been accepted a legally binding agreement is created, and your course fee is due. If you are being funded to attend a course, payment must be made at least four weeks prior to the course start date.

  • Your place will not be confirmed until full payment has been received.       Once confirmed, cancellations will be dealt with in accordance with our refund policy.

  • A full refund, less an administration fee of £25, will be made if written cancellation is received four weeks prior to the course date. We regret that after this time, no refunds will be made for whatever reason. We are happy to accept substitute delegates at any time.

  • If you are unable to attend a course, for whatever reason, we will not accept liability, and no refunds will be given.

  • We will only cancel a course if it is unavoidable. For example, if there are insufficient registrations, or should the tutor fall ill. If it is necessary for us to cancel, you will receive a full refund of any course fees paid, or the opportunity to transfer to a course on another date. We will not be held liable for any additional expenses incurred such as travel expenses, accommodation costs or administration charges.

  • We cannot be held liable for additional expenses if we are unable to fulfill a booking due to circumstances beyond our control such as adverse weather conditions, industrial disputes or unforeseen problems with the venue, to name but a few.

  • Payment can be made by the website using PayPal or credit/debit card.  Alternatively, we will accept payment by bank transfer. Please ask for details. Cheques will be accepted, however, should the cheque be returned by your bank as unpaid, an administration fee of £15 will be charged.

  • We have a duty to care to our customers and staff but are only liable up to the cost of your course. We cannot be held responsible for damage and/or loss to your personal possessions. We are also not liable for failure in carrying out the contract if the failure is due to the action of the participant or the action of a third party.

  • Know pain courses involve minimal levels of physical activity, however, if you are suffering from any medical conditions, we ask to be advised of these at the time of booking. If for any reason you are not in a suitable condition to attend or complete a course or are under the influence of drink or drugs the facilitator may ask you to leave the course. We will not be liable for any extra expense incurred and you will not be able to claim a refund. We reserve the right to remove any person from a course if their behaviour is deemed by the tutor to be detrimental to the group, unsafe or adversely affecting the course. We will not be liable for any expenses or refunds in these circumstances.

  • Should you have a problem or complaint on your course you must bring it to the attention of our staff as soon as possible and we will try to rectify the problem. If you feel that the problem was not resolved and resulted in a much reduced enjoyment of the course you must inform us in writing within 28 days and we will respond within 28 days to resolve the matter to the satisfaction of both parties.

  • We will not pass on your personal details to any third party.
